New Beneficiaries were added to the scheme
The Utwenikang Ndito Ufok Nwed Ikono, Akwa Obongunwana, Emmanuel Ntatam Ph.D., has kick started another phase of N1 Million scholarship to Ikono students in tertiary institutions across Akwa Ibom State, with new beneficiaries making the list.
The first cohort of this phase of the scholarship scheme, Akwa Ibom State University and Akwa Ibom State College of Education, expressed gratitude to the visionary leader of Heal The Needy Ikono Foundation, for his steadfast commitment towards the welfare and education of Ikono students in Akwa Ibom State and diaspora.
Upholding the tenets of the commission, Amb. Ntatam added new beneficiaries to the previous ones, to further secure a brighter future for more students from Ikono Local Government Area, believing that every child deserves quality education.
Making the list, Miss Inyene Ibanga Udo and miss Liberty Isaac Okokon, of the department of Biology, Akwa Ibom State College of Education, appreciated the Ambassador for Peace, for stretching his hands of help through the Foundation, to stable their academic pursuit in the college.
Capturing the moment of their prayed benisons to Ntatam, they maintained that good health, above all, will dress the leader all the days of his life, for sending help their way, on the verge of exercising their final option of dropping out.
The beneficiaries broke down in excitement for a restored hope after many days of tears, exalting God for another golden opportunity to live their dreams.
Heal the Needy Ikono Foundation Scholarship scheme is expected to cover 6 varsities in the State, which includes University of Uyo, Akwa Ibom State University, Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic, Akwa Ibom state College of Education, Akwa Ibom State College of Science and Technology and Federal Polytechnic Ukana.
The tour continues as the team prepares to engage with another higher institution in the State, further demonstrating Ntatam’s unwavering commitment to the development and growth of Ikono Local Government and the State as a whole.
Recalled that Ntatam doled out over N10 million last year in scholarships to students from Ikono Local Government, covering various universities, as well as nursery, primary, and secondary schools, this was in addition to other philanthropic initiatives, including empowerment programs and impactful community support within the area and beyond.
Akparawa Emmanuel Ntatam, has defined his vision through his birthed Heal The Needy Ikono Foundation, where he has become a voice of hope to the less privileged and a pillar of strength to the downtrodden.

Meanwhile, in recent development, The Akwa Obongunwana, Dr. Emmanuel Ntatam has graciously sponsored the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) registration and its processes for students in Ikono Local Government Area, to further brighten the future of the community in times to come.
